There are many scholarships that are available to students who meet certain criteria; for example, some are based upon health conditions such as diabetes or epilepsy, some are based upon physical traits such as race, ethnicity, or height. The key factor in getting a scholarship is how hard a person is willing to research and follow up on the opportunities. Most scholarships require an essay, which requires time and effort. Although the R.C.H.S. guidance counselors post and advertise the scholarship opportunities that come into our offices, it is impossible to have information on every single scholarship that might be available to a particular student. For that reason, we encourage students to do scholarship searches on their own using websites that screen for certain criteria.  A few reputable sites are:
