Rockcastle County Schools Transportation Department has 45 buses that handle the district transportation needs including busing students to and from school each day, providing special needs transportation, and accommodating all extracurricular busing needs. Traveling approximately 659,000 miles each year, our transportation department’s first priority is to ensure the safety of all students. All buses have audio/video recorders on board.

Our school bus drivers possess a Commercial Driver's License and pass the State Bus Driver Certification. We are continually striving to improve our driver training when it comes to both driving and working with children. We are proud of our safety record and the years of service provided to Rockcastle County Schools.
