We are honored to be recognized by WKYT’s Commonwealth of Kindness for the incredible efforts of our staff in ensuring students have access to food during winter weather. Coming together as a district, our team packed an astounding 15,000 meals to send home with students, demonstrating the true spirit of community and care.

With winter storms often disrupting schedules, we know how important it is to provide students with nutritious meals even when school is not in session. Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, thousands of students received food to help bridge the gap during inclement weather.

This recognition highlights not just the hard work of our team but also the strong sense of community that defines Rockcastle County Schools. We are proud to support our students and families in every way we can.
