This morning, Rockcastle County leaders came together to officially proclaim Friday, October 24, 2025, as “Rock Your Red Day.” The proclamation, signed by County Judge Executive Howell Holbrook, Superintendent Dr. Carrie Ballinger, and UNITE Chairman Marcus Reppert, emphasizes the community’s unified commitment to raising awareness about drug abuse prevention and promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles across the county.
Through the joint efforts of the Rockcastle County Fiscal Court, U.N.I.T.E. Clubs, and the Rockcastle U.N.I.T.E. Coalition, the county continues to lead initiatives that educate citizens about the dangers of drug abuse and strengthen community resolve to fight it.
Residents and students across Rockcastle County are encouraged to wear red on October 24th to show their support for a drug-free future and to stand together as a community committed to awareness, prevention, and hope.
