For 25 years, Kenna’s Kitchen has served as a beautiful reminder of how one person’s love can continue to touch countless lives. Founded in memory of Kenna Lanham, this annual Community Thanksgiving Meal has grown into a cherished Rockcastle County tradition—one that fills both plates and hearts with gratitude, kindness, and connection.
This year, over 2,600 meals were prepared and packed with love as students, staff, volunteers, and community members came together to honor Kenna’s enduring legacy. Under the leadership of Ms. Regina Hull-Brown, the event continues to thrive, reaching families across the county with warmth and care.
Students across the district also honor Kenna’s memory through their annual food collections, reminding us that gratitude grows strongest when we serve others. As we celebrate this 25-year milestone, Kenna’s Kitchen remains a powerful example of compassion in action—and a tradition that continues to bring Rockcastle County together.
