Today, Rockcastle County Judge Executive Howell Holbrook officially signed a proclamation declaring February 2026 as National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, recognizing the powerful impact of applied learning across Rockcastle County.

The proclamation highlights the essential role Career and Technical Education plays in preparing students for high-demand, high-wage careers and strengthening both our local workforce and global economy.

It also recognizes the Rockcastle Area Technology Center (RATC) as a cornerstone of the community’s educational and economic development.
