The Rockcastle County School District has been recognized as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Kentucky, marking the second consecutive year the district has earned this prestigious honor. The recognition is presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM).
Organizations across the state apply to participate in the Best Places to Work in Kentucky program. Participating organizations then undergo a comprehensive evaluation process that reviews workplace policies, benefits, and organizational practices. A significant portion of the evaluation also includes confidential feedback from employees through an independent survey, ensuring that employee experiences and perspectives are central to the final selection.
Receiving this honor for the second year in a row highlights Rockcastle County Schools’ ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive workplace culture where educators and staff feel valued, respected, and empowered.
Through a strong focus on professional growth, collaboration, and employee well-being, Rockcastle County Schools continues to cultivate an environment where staff members can thrive while serving the students and families of Rockcastle County.
