KDE Summer Boost

Rockcastle County Schools is excited to be part of the Summer Boost program through the Kentucky Department of Education, an initiative designed to keep students learning and engaged throughout the summer months.

Through this program, Rockcastle students and families will have access to free books and educational resources aimed at strengthening reading and math skills while school is out of session. By connecting these resources with local meal sites and community programs, Summer Boost makes it easier for families to access meaningful learning opportunities all summer long.

This initiative aligns with Rockcastle County Schools’ commitment to supporting the whole child and ensuring that learning continues beyond the classroom. By providing engaging, at-home resources, the district is helping students stay on track, build confidence, and return to school ready to succeed.

More details about how Summer Boost will be implemented locally will be shared soon. Rockcastle County Schools looks forward to supporting students and families as they continue their journey from Rocket Learners to Rocket Leaders. 🚀
