This research-based framework is designed to build leadership capacity, foster collaboration, and support the development of the whole child by empowering both students and educators.
The 7 Habits—including principles such as being proactive, putting first things first, and seeking to understand others—provide practical skills that help individuals grow personally and interpersonally. Together with the 5 Core Paradigms, which emphasize the belief that everyone can be a leader, everyone has genius, and that meaningful change begins with each of us, this initiative aligns with our district’s commitment to preparing students for success in school, in their careers, and in life.
By embedding these habits and paradigms into daily learning and school culture, Rockcastle County Schools is equipping students, families, and staff with tools to strengthen leadership, responsibility, and resilience.
