Another fantastic Club Day at RES!

We had a great Eagles Fest today! Our teacher vs 5th grade basketball game was a blast! Of course it was intense but the teachers pulled out the WIN! 🏆

There will be tutoring today for math from after school until 5:00.
The RES and MVES Academic teams enjoyed a great trip this past weekend to the Knoxville Zoo. We would like thank parents and community supporters. These students had a great day meeting a bearded dragon, examining bio-artifacts, seeing many different animals as they learned facts about them.

4th grade had an awesome day getting to experience and explore science and technology through immersive experiences with the KEDC AI bus and immersive dome lab.

Today we celebrated our 4th and 5th grade students with our student led KSA Awards hosted by 3rd grade. It was a great time watching our leaders present awards, serve food, and greet those in our building.

Just a reminder that today is parent conferences from 3:30-6:00. It is also the last day of the book fair. You can shop during parent conferences as well.
Thank you to guest reader, Mrs. Carla Parsons, who came and read to our Kindergarten classes.

There is no tutoring on Tuesday due to Parent Conferences.
Come out tonight to RES for games, food, fun, and some silent auction items.

Look at the Amazing things happening at RES! Fifth graders recording podcasts they created about the Declaration of Independence.

FYI: After school tutoring this Thursday until 5:00.
Ms. Imogene's Kindergarten class made rainbow arch bridges today! Elijah’s supported the most weight-- 32 counters!

Don't forget our Book Fair is going from March 18th-24th!

The RES Student Lighthouse Team planned and organized a food drive for the Weekend Backpack Program at RES. Over 1300 food items were collected! Ms. Muncie's homeroom was our classroom winner and will be choosing a special reward activity to celebrate. Thank you to all of our students, families, and teachers that participated!

Don't forget that March 20th is the RES Spring Carnival from 5-7:00.

After school tutoring begins today. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:00. Please make sure that you have a car rider tag if available to help with pick up. Pick up will be in the front of the building.
RES wants to thank Trooper Logan Kidwell for being a guest reader for Ms. Imogene's Kindergarten class today.
