Please attend an important Senior Parent meeting at RCHS on Wednesday, September 17. The meeting will begin at 5:30 in the RCHS Library.
For over 20 years, Project Graduation provided RCHS seniors with a safe all-night celebration filled with games, food, prizes, and fun. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the (possible) return of Project Graduation for the Class of 2026.

Here are today's announcements:
1. Any student with prior competitive swimming experience who wants to be part of the high school swim team, stop by and see Mrs. Childress for more information. She is in Room 110.
2. Parking for tonight's game, the first on the new field, is going to be limited due to the construction at the RCMS. Students are asked to park in the back parking lot here at RCHS and use the shuttle bus system to get to the football field. The buses start running at 5:30 and will run continually until 7:30 kickoff. Shuttle services back to RCHS will pick up after halftime at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Also, we will have vehicles on standby for anyone needing to return to their vehicle at any time.
3. Staff, you will be able to park beside the bus garage. You will have to drive down the road that goes behind the middle school to reach that area.
Let's go, Rockets!

*Parking for Friday's home football game is limited due to the construction at RCMS. To help reducing parking issues, we are asking students to park in the high school's back parking lot and use our shuttle bus system to shuttle from RCHS to the field. Buses will run consistently starting at 5:30 until kickoff at 7:30. Return buses will start at the beginning of the 3rd quarter and run consistently after that. Also, vehicles will be on standby to return students to their vehicle if they need to leave early.
*Students, please try to finish IReady by the end of this week. Those scores are being used to create Rock Time groups and to create ACT School Day rosters.
*Any borrowed chrome book chargers need returned to Mr. McKinney.

The graphic lists both national and school day testing dates, as well as any associated costs. Several have upcoming deadlines, so interested students should act early.

*Seniors, you will meet with Mrs. Smith in the auditorium tomorrow during homeroom to talk about all things Senior and Class of 2026!
*Today is High Attendance Day! Any student here the full day today is eligible for prize drawings on Friday.
*Marching Band will have rehearsal today until 6:00 PM.
*Congratulations to the boys golf team! They won the Central Kentucky Conference Tournament in an exciting playoff over Scott County on Saturday with Dalton Deborde making the putt on the second playoff hole to secure the win. The following students were recognized:
Brody Hodges and Conner Ford: All Conference First Team
Zeke Fain: All Conference Second Team
*The golf team finished runners-up in the 2A State Golf Championship yesterday with a 5 man team of Brody Hodges, Dalton Deborde, Zeke Fain, Luke Ellis, and Conner Ford.

Ninth graders in Mrs. Allene Cornelius's English classes were inspired by the words of Isaac Asimov: “Engineering is the art of the possible. It is applying skill and creative thinking to solving the world’s biggest challenges.”
First students were given an image that only depicted seemingly random lines and shapes. Then they created their own vision that emerged from the original drawing. Their work can be seen below...
Such creativity and talent on display!
