Bus Evacuation Drills – Thursday, March 26th 🚌
Rockcastle County Schools will be conducting bus evacuation drills to help ensure student safety and preparedness. 🚀
🚀 The Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) AI Bus is rolling through Rockcastle County Schools this week!
Our Rocket Learners are getting a glimpse into the future as they explore interactive simulators and the immersive dome. These hands-on experiences are bringing AI concepts to life while connecting learning to real-world careers. 💻✨

Last week, 107 Rockcastle County High School students were rewarded for their outstanding dedication to attendance with a fun-filled trip! From bowling to games and great food, it was a well-earned celebration of their commitment to being present and giving their best each day.

The Rockcastle County Preschool Program is excited to announce that registration for the 2026–2027 school year is coming soon! 🎒
Rockcastle County Schools offer half-day preschool sessions Monday through Thursday at each elementary school. Kentucky’s preschool programs are available for:
• All four-year-old children whose family income is no more than 160% of the poverty level
• All three and four-year-old children with developmental delays or disabilities, regardless of income
Children must be 4 years old by August 1, 2026, to enroll as a four-year-old preschool student.
If you are interested, please contact your child’s school to schedule an appointment.
