The Rockcastle County Preschool Program is excited to announce that registration for the 2026–2027 school year is coming soon! 🎒

Rockcastle County Schools offer half-day preschool sessions Monday through Thursday at each elementary school. Kentucky’s preschool programs are available for:

• All four-year-old children whose family income is no more than 160% of the poverty level
• All three and four-year-old children with developmental delays or disabilities, regardless of income
Children must be 4 years old by August 1, 2026, to enroll as a four-year-old preschool student.

If you are interested, please contact your child’s school to schedule an appointment.
Registration Dates:
📍 Mount Vernon Elementary – May 14 & May 18 | 9 AM to 2 PM
📍 Brodhead Elementary – May 15 & May 20 | 9 AM to 2 PM
📍 Roundstone Elementary – May 19 | 9 AM to 2 PM

Tuesday, March 17, 2026 — Rockcastle County Schools will be closed for a traditional snow day due to hazardous road conditions. ❄️
