We are proud to spotlight Ms. Cayci Mahaffey and Ms. Lauren Collins for successfully completing the TPOT (Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool) Certification. This achievement equips them to support high-quality early childhood practices, identify needs, and guide intentional planning to strengthen student learning. 🌟

Our 6th Grade Band students are shining bright during Arts in Education Week! Through music, they’re building confidence, teamwork, and creativity—skills that will help them soar as Rocket Learners. 🚀 🎶

The soft lockdown at Rockcastle County High School has been lifted. Normal operations have resumed.

Rockcastle County High School has been placed on a soft lockdown due to an ongoing medical situation. There is no threat to students or staff

Our RCHS Student Lighthouse Leadership Team presented at this evening’s board meeting, highlighting the incredible things happening at RCHS and the positive impact the Leader in Me initiative is making on our students and school community. 🚀

Join us Friday, September 12, 2025, as we celebrate the Grand Opening of our brand-new football field with a special Ribbon Cutting at 7:10 PM, followed by the Rockets’ first home game of the season at 7:30 PM! 🏈✨

✅ Overflow Parking & Shuttle Service – Available at RCHS beginning at 5:30 PM. Shuttles will run until kickoff and resume at the start of the 3rd quarter to return guests. Handicap parking is available at RCMS.

RCHS Algebra 1 students in Mrs. Bowling and Mrs. Faust’s classes took part in a Function Auction today! Each group started with $1000 to bid on 12 lots of relations and functions—putting their math skills, strategy, and teamwork to the test.🚀
