Rockcastle County Schools was proud to be represented at the Vibrant Learning Collaborative hosted by the University of the Cumberlands!
Alongside GT Coordinator Starla Benge, student leaders Matheu Eversole, Aaliyah Caldwell, and Isabelle McGuire shared how our Portrait of a Rocket and the Kentucky Portrait of a Learner framework have shaped their educational experiences. Through authentic, student-centered learning, they highlighted how meaningful classroom and community opportunities have strengthened the skills they need to succeed as Rocket Learners and Rocket Leaders.
We are incredibly proud of the way these students represented Rockcastle County Schools and shared their voices with future educators. Thank you, Matheu, Aaliyah, and Isabelle, for representing Rocket Nation with excellence! 🚀

Rockcastle County families, don't miss this incredible opportunity! Join us tomorrow, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rockcastle County High School for the Christian Appalachian Project Operation Sharing Community Giveaway.
Eligible families can receive a vehicle full of free household essentials, including snacks, drinks, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and more. Families with children may also receive age-appropriate toys while supplies last.
🚗 Please enter through the main entrance of RCHS and remain in your vehicle throughout the event. Volunteers will guide you through the process and load your items for you.

Registered families can pick up their final meal bundle today from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM at the RCHS Back Parking Lot.

🚀 2026-2027 Online Registration is Now Open!
Online Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open for all Rockcastle County Schools students.
Completing Online Registration through Infinite Campus replaces many of the paper forms traditionally sent home and allows parents/guardians to complete registration for all students in their household at one time.
