Rockcastle County Schools is continuing to monitor the weather in collaboration with the National Weather Service.
If inclement weather arrives earlier than expected, Winterball will dismiss early to ensure all students and staff are able to get home safely.

Mt. Vernon Elementary School’s Mustang Student Ministry is launching Coins for Cards, a fundraiser to provide gift cards for children in foster care.
Students are collecting spare change now through December 17th, with a goal of raising $1,500 to support children and families in our community.

Due to the ongoing situation on U.S. 25, the following bus routes will not run this afternoon out of an abundance of caution. This decision ensures that no students are dropped off at home unsupervised.

James Poynter – Bus #1901
Lambert Road Route
Keith Mink – Bus #1303
All high school, middle school, and Roundstone Elementary students affected by these routes will be held at Roundstone Elementary School. Parents and guardians may pick up their students at RES.
