Today, during our District Leadership Team meeting, we proudly presented each of our principals with a banner recognizing their school's incredible 2023-2024 KSA accomplishments! During November GATE Days 6th and 7th Grade RCMS Students learned the art of basket weaving. While weaving their baskets, students improved fine motor skills, enhanced focus and patience, used creative expression, and gained a cultural understanding, and a sense of accomplishment when they held their finished product. Thank you to Mrs. Bereda Weddle for sharing her craft with RCMS Students. 🚀

Gifted and Talented Coordinator Starla Benge spent the day at Morehead State University presenting at the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education Conference. While there, she partnered with Dr. Kelly Watson of Eastern Kentucky University to share their work at Maywood Environmental and Education Laboratory. The accounts have been reported to Instagram and local law enforcement is currently in contact with Instagram to determine the creators of the accounts.
