Due to recent winter weather and missed school days, the Rockcastle County Schools Board of Education approved a calendar amendment.
➡️ Monday, February 16 (Presidents Day) and Friday, March 13 will now be regular instructional days for students.

We are excited to welcome our students back into our buildings! Due to some bus turnarounds still being inaccessible, several bus routes have been modified. Please review the graphic below for updated route information.
Any students who are absent due to transportation issues will be excused. We truly appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure safe transportation for all students.

Rockcastle County Schools will be in session on Monday, February 9th.
We are currently continuing to check bus turn arounds and will share modified bus route information later this evening.
We are excited to see our Rocket Learners and look forward to welcoming everyone back to school!⭐️
Reminder: The Daddy-Daughter Dance has been postponed to February 21, 2026.

During January, our Rocket Learners explored Habit 4: Think Win-Win, practicing collaboration, respect, and problem-solving that benefits everyone. Through real-life examples and student leadership, we saw growth in communication, empathy, and teamwork across our district. 🚀
